Aim To use efficiently the elementary functions of information and communication technologies to retrieve, assess, store, produce, present and exchange information, and to communicate, participate in collaborative networks and develop thinking skills.

Information Communications Technology (ICT) is rapidly changing the way that we live, work, reason and how we look at the world at large. It’s also transforming classrooms as teachers and instructors use technology to share ideas, collaborate and most importantly enhance the learning experience for students.
Blue Ribbon Academy has opened up doors to teach students the various issues surrounding the use of ICT coupled with innovation. A set of six ICT based teaching ideas, each with a rotation, utilizing software, additional freeware and online applications. Although the plans are based around ICT the activities are clear to Design technology (stop motion animation), Literacy (persuasive writing, oracy ), Art (designing graphics and logos) in addition to links to collaborative work, problem solving and developing thinking skills.
